For the EO-150 ventilator, the AUTO trigger setting likely corresponds to an automatic patient-triggered cycle sensitivity that operates within a flow threshold range of 1.4L/min down to 0.7 L/min difference from the baseline flow (bias flow), allowing the ventilator to dynamically adjust the effort needed for the patient to initiate a breath.
The setting I Time Max = AUTO = 30 / Respiratory Rate set means the ventilator's Maximum Inspiratory Time is automatically calculated by taking the constant value of 30 seconds and dividing it by the set Respiratory Rate (breaths per minute), which serves as a back-up time limit for the inspiration phase to prevent the I time to be lasting more than half the set Respiratory Rate.
The Nominal Leak to AUTO applies a compensation of 40 l/min when the circuit is configured with a leak type.
