Maintenance and Support

Only the exterior surfaces of the device should be cleaned. The process for cleaning and disinfection at a patient change is to:

  • Disconnect the device from its power supply.
  • Clean the exterior surfaces with a damp cloth and a mild detergent, then wipe them dry.
  • Surface disinfect the module and station's exterior shells using a recommended solution, paying close attention to the areas near the patient output, fresh air inlet, keyboard, and station handle.
  • Allow the product to dry completely before its next use.

Routine maintenance by a trained technician is required54.

  • Every 6 months: The air filter should be checked and replaced if necessary, and the double limb circuit adapter membrane should be checked if used.
  • Every 25,000 hours of use: The turbine should be replaced by a qualified EOVE technician, or when a service notification is displayed.
