Bag CPAP is relevant to treat the novo acute respiratory failure patients thanks to 2 independent parameters.

Bag CPAP delivers 2 levels of FiO2 thanks to a Venturi system, enabling use with a minimum oxygen flow of 5 l/min depending on the desired FiO2: 

  • moderate FiO2 (50-60%) obtained with an oxygen flow rate of at least 5L/min;
  • high FiO2 (90-100%) obtained with an oxygen flow rate of at least 15L/min.
The level of positive end expiratory pressure* is easily adjustable between 5 and 20 cmH2O.

Bag CPAP is designed to reduce the oxygen consumption and enables the treatment of more patients when oxygen resources are limited. This reinforces its usefulness in places where oxygen access is difficult like in low and middle income countries or in emergency situations.

Bag CPAP is a frugal device that is safe and user-friendly for healthcare professionals. This is essential for delivering care to a patient in a critical situation or in a restrictive environment with a lack of resources. 

Furthermore, anti-rebreathing and anti-asphyxia valves ensure device safety and patient comfort.
